Neighbors living along the alley west of our school are having difficulty entering and exiting their property at arrival and dismissal times because of the number of vehicles obstructing their passage. Even though the bylaw allows one to load/unload passengers for a period not exceeding five minutes, they would appreciate it if you did not park there at all because of the obstruction.

PLEASE TRY TO PARK ALONG CORINTHIA DRIVE TO ALLEVIATE THIS PRESSURE.

Please note as per the City of Leduc Bylaw:

1. No person shall park a vehicle in an alley unless a sign otherwise permits except for the following purposes:

a) The loading or unloading of goods from a commercial vehicle for a period not exceeding thirty (30) minutes, or

b) The loading or unloading of goods or passengers from a vehicle other than a commercial vehicle for a period not exceeding five (5) minutes.

2. Notwithstanding Section (a) and (b) above, no person while loading or unloading passengers of goods shall park a vehicle in such a manner as may obstruct the passage of other vehicles.
